Hi all

Looking for opinions on these. Have been on a macbook pro for years but it fell and the motherboard is finished.

All it will be used for is general web browsing, downloading movies that'll be watched mostly on my tv, & some typing.

Screen size is fine as I don't watch much on the laptop. My budget is 250 - 450.

Should I go for one of these and if so which? Or if not, any recommendations?? Any help would be appreciated, total novice on this stuff!

I am not a fan of HP they seem to have some quality control issues I repair computers and they seem to come in very often. I think Toshiba are fairly decent the Satellite L5 is a decent spec for about 450. I would steer away from anything celron or the lower end amd processor's.

I find Lenovo to be quite good I sold a number of their laptops and never had any complaints. The spec looks to be all right on that s210
