As above my horn is not working (not that Horn! :D)

03 Fiesta, only passed NCT last March with it working.

Replaced the fuse with new one, no good.

Should I get a used working one from scrap yard or take it to garage first to see if it something else causing it to not work?

Check relay, then the horn itself.

Thanks, how do I do that?

You will need to locate it in the fuse box, just swap the relay with another such as fog light one to test. If it is not the relay the horn will need to be removed to check.

My mother has a 02 fiesta and water use to get in the horn all the time. Not a hard job to change a new one is around 20 euro.

If I need a new one, where can I buy one, motorfactors have them?

How do I locate relay in the fuse box, all I have is a diagram on the glove box of the fuse box. I have no owners manual.

Got it off Ford. If it is water it might dry out and sound funny if it does it's only one bolt and a plug in connector

Always go for the easy fix first, a lot of people on this forum will immediately jump in with replacing the biggest, most expensive bit first. Don't fall into that very well greased troubleshooting trap.
As you did, first check the fuse. Then check the switch, is there voltage present, does it make contact, check the relay, does it go click, check for voltage at the horn itself and lastly, whip out your horn (Oooh, Matron!) and apply voltage across its terminals.
Only if your ears are not ringing after your last step, should you purchase a new horn, wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
I've been fixing stuff all my life and you learn one thing pretty quick:
Always go low end before you go high end.
Too many mechanics want to whip out injectors and fuel pump at the first sign of bad running, because they can't be arsed to properly troubleshoot.
If you do get a new one, why not upgrade?:

I love that horn, might get it one day. :D

if you had the ignition on but engine off and press the horn you would likely hear the relay clicking.
if you hear that sound then its the horn itself thats dead.

Fuse first then, easier and better to start at the far end,put a test light or multimeter across horn wires after disconnecting them from the horn unit, if no light then work back to the relay /steering wheel contacts / switch etc.

I just tried it out today and it is working again eventhough the sound is pretty funny, like a dying out horn sound I guess, but is loud enough at the same time, but that should not matter for nct as long as it works, correct??

    But will it work?

Replace the horn unit, cheapo from any motor factors.
