Have a small no of ram lambs that were youngest of stores and not sold in August, have been on nuts and aftergrass since Sept and most nearly fit to kill, are suffolks, and even though well dosed etc they have got quite dirty of their back ends....wondering if I need to dag them pre sending to factory....would rather avoid doing it.Main reason being lack of help at mo and a back injury to boot.

I think you might be charged a clipping charge, cant remember what it is. :(

But if you have a bank injury, I say leave em go - tisnt worth maybe doing damage to yerself for the sake it...

Managed to get a neighbour to give me a turn this morning and he dagged the lambs for me,we weighed them after to see how they were and as he said there was no point weighing shoite on them as well!....v pleasantly surprised with results, ten lambs in it avg about 46kg,one end of May Cheviot x ram lamb was 45kg!,you can't beat a milky mother.
