    Any advise /experience appreciated

Council are taking land in front of my shed. The area that will be left wont be enough to move a tractor around. I only have a rough field out the back of the shed.
Should i object to planning ? on what ground?, push for a new shed out the back ? is this a realistic option? or push for a new yard out the back of the shed.

Its at the early stage. and the informal chats i've had with them they seem to be promising the world to me but i dont think these guys have the authority to be doing this at this stage so am afraid to believe them.

Get everything in writing. Arrange a meeting with them and your solicitor so all legal matters are cleared up.

Could you build new yard at rear of existing shed?

Talk to your solicitor, they usually have an agriculture consultant that they use for CPOs
Council are supposed to pay for any professional advice you need

watch out...have them direct all their correspondence to your solicitor, and tell them you haven't agreed to anything in verbal discussions, even if they believe you have.

Find yourself a handful of some rare snails or maybe a horse shoe bat on the property.
Spread the word out to the grow your owns geezers in the locality.
    Council won't stand a chance!

I would get talking to people involved in handling CPOs . I think we got a list of companies to pick from to do the negotiations for us .
