Wanted : standard axle for front wheel

Hello,


My beloved one year old Giant escape hybrid was stolen, only had it a year but we had some good times together and it really made me love cycling all over again after about a 20 year absence

Ive now come to the realisation that its impossible to own a half decent bike in Dublin without the fear of it being stolen by some good for nothing scumbag.


So ive bought a 6 year old Trek 7.0 fx and am just tidying it up a bit.

Looking for


A Standard skewer/axle for the front wheel, to replace the quick release one.

you will need something like this.

although that one may just be allen key type. There are various other types with non standard nuts/fittings that can only be easily opened with the correct key/tool
