Third party vdsl router for efibre

    Has anyone configured a third party router to work on efibre

    I have a Asus DSL-N66U

    But am Having difficulty setting it up
    I have a dsl sync and the Internet attempts to connect

    The settings I'm using are

    Poppe over ptm
    With the Id of 10

    Username eircom@eircom.net
    Password broadband1

    Not sure what I'm doing wrong

    Is there any link to vdsl settings for third party router

    We don't offer support in settings for third party devices however I do have a PDF offering information on how to connect a cisco router (which is the only third party information I have) if that is of any use to you? Please PM me your email address and I'll send it on if you want.

    To configure an Asus N66U or any 3rd party modem you need to go to the WAN settings page.

    NOTE: Asus N66U is a dsl/fibre modem

    For FTTC Customers

    Create new WAN connection. VDSL

    Choose IPoE if you have no Static IP and or have Evision

    Set VLAN ID (0-7) to 0
    Set VLAN ID (0-25556) to 10

    MTU 1500.

    DNS
    159.134.0.1
    159.134.0.2
    If you have a static IP

    For FTTC Customers

    Create new WAN connection. VDSL

    Choose PPPoE.

    PPP Username: Eircom@eircom.net
    PPP Password: broadband1

    Set VLAN ID (0-7) to 0
    Set VLAN ID (0-25556) to 10

    MTU 1492.

    DNS
    159.134.0.1
    159.134.0.2


    For ADSL Customers

    Create new WAN connection. ADSL

    Choose PPPoE.

    PPP Username: Eircom@eircom.net
    PPP Password: broadband1

    Set VCI to 8
    Set VPI to 35

    MTU 1492.

    DNS
    159.134.0.1
    159.134.0.2
