Hi , Have a 2009 Passat CC. One of the rear lights (left rear fog light bulb, it's not a fog light but that is what's displayed) keeps blowing. I've also swapped the connector blocks. Any thoughts...?

When I open the boot, that light cluster turns off. If there a button to service mode so that the cluster will stay on. I want to see if there might be a wiring issue when I open/close the lid.

check your doors and see if door loom has been tampered with. Sounds to me like a break in a wire if its blowing when you swap connectors

So the wiring harness from the lid to inside the boot was damaged
