    Has anyone tried to change the spark plugs on the 1.6 8v engine? I am at a complete loss as to how to change them

    You need a bendy socket.

    There is a vw tool for removing the plug lead as well but you don't absolutely need it.

    Plenty online guides, search for 1.6 SR engine.

    had a look,might just take it to the local garage or something,the video's on youtube ain't exactly a great help tbh

    Can you see the plugs/leads? They're under the manifold

    the far left and far right yes but not the 2 in the centre,it was getting dark when I looked,will check again tomorrow just to make sure
