    Hi,
I usually get a Sky Sports upgrade for the Heineken Cup but I see some games in the new ERC are on BT. I checked the Sky Sports website and it looks like I would have to get a Sky subscription and a BT subscription to see all the Irish games. Is this correct or are there any bundles on offer?

    Nope, that's correct.

You now need to subscribe to both if you want to be sure of seeing all the games. Yes, it's a pain in the ass. :)

TV Schedule for the first two rounds for Irish teams

    Saturday 18th October
    Sale v Munster 1pm SKY SPORTS 2
    Leicester v Ulster 7.45pm BT SPORT 2

    Sunday 19th October
    Leinster v Wasps 5.15pm BT SPORT 2

    Friday 24th October
    Munster v Saracens 7.45pm BT SPORT 2

    Saturday 25th October
    Ulster v Toulon 1pm SKY SPORTS 2

    Sunday 26th October
    Castres v Leinster 3pm SKY SPORTS 2

So one game on each channel for each province.

If you're on UPC it's only six quid extra for BT Sports.

Not surprisingly, Sky aren't doing any deals to get you to take BT.

TBH - the SKY / BT thing, along with no RTE has killed the interest of a lot of people I know. They were casual supporters to be fair but the interest from watching on TV got them to a couple of games a year.

€6? Do you mean 16 or is there an offer on? ?? Very interested for 6!

UPC do have a bundle where you can take both Sky and Setanta/BT for €42pm, the price for Sky alone is €37 pm (though if you're moving to UPC from another provider you can get it for €1 per month for the first six months!). Normal price for Setanta/BT alone is indeed €16pm.

Sky can't do any such deal, because Setanta/BT isn't part of the Sky package.
