Oil Stove into Wood burner?

I have a Efe oil stove, doesn't work. Landlord won't fix it, but put in a oil boiler, however there are no radiators in the front room where the old Efe oil stove is.

If I cut off the supply tap to the oil, so no residual oil came through, could it be used as a wood/turf burning stove? Thanks

I would certainly doubt it would work by just doing that. Besides you should not interfere with something like that, especially in someone else's house.
In all fairness the landlord should have put a radiator in there when he/she stopped the stove. He/she is obliged to provide you with some way if heating the rooms.
