Selling cattle

    So what do you prefer to do when selling cattle at a mart. Would you send then through in a group or one at a time?

    Depends on the cattle of course but unless you gave 2 or three very similar in size, weight / quality I'd go singular

    Prefer 2 at a time. Suits the lads buying a small amount and the lads buying a good few.

    I've 2 that are similar I think so was thinking of doubling up. Has its pros and cons I suppose

    If you can match them up then you should always at least pair them.

    The only lads I see selling in batches round here are a few crooked dealers, everything in singles

    You should watch them dealers so. They'd teach you how to sell cattle!:D

    Aye, a bunch of cattle with maybe 10 in it 6 would be very nice and 4 plain, have seen it loads of times, works a treat IMO

    Yep, works a treat mosy of the time.
    Last time I was at mart I put one alright lad in with two very good Ch weanlings.
    The two Charolais's carried the third lad and I was very happy. Of course i ran the risk that he might pull um down but he didn't that day. The rest were far to varied so went as singles.
