Career change?

    Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light; ive been in IT Support for 6 yrs (on and off), and most of the jobs I have had I didn't enjoy as it was a lot of sitting at a desk staring at a screen. In my spare time in very athletic and like to work with my hands to fix things. Im thinking of packing it in to become a carpenter/building engineer, as I look forward to the evenings when I can pursue my hands-on hobbies. Should I just be a field engineer, thus not sitting in one place, or pursue a hands-on but probably a much harder (on the body) career?

    thanks in advance

Why don't you try field engineer first?

If that doesn't solve the problem, you can look into a complete career change.
