    Hello,

I'm interested in using a generic charting tool (cheap or free) to look at indices for a variety of markets, and commodities. Could someone suggest/instruct which software tool a beginner might get started with?

    Thanks
    tl

    Hey,

Not too sure if this s what you are looking for but a lot of spreadbet firms give you access to charts when you open up a demo account.

    Check out MT4 and IGIndex

Hi the best charting tool (multi discipline) by far is tradingview.com in my view. Its free and great!!

there is a pro version that you can pay for but I personally have all I need (currencies) for my purposes using the free version.

    hope this helps
