Sorry but is it possible to cancel a leap card you lost and have the amount on the account transferred onto another card you have?

    It's an adult one.

I remember when I had a student one you could not transfer amounts over if you lost it I just wondered if it's the same for the adult ones if I ring customer service?

    Thank you.

You can deffo get it refunded to your bank account once it was a registered. You can arrange so on the website.

If you had registered the card before losing it then they will send you out a new one with the balance switched to the new one and block the old one.

    Go to www.leapcard.ie.

Click on FAQ from the lefthand menu and then click on whichever of the bottom two options applies to you - note you need to register the card in order to get a refund.

Completing the refund form will involve cancelling the card, so yes it includes the deposit.
