Reluctant sale of a very beautiful 1981 steel frame track bike.
This bike is a real head turner and rides very very nicely.

    A bargain at €520

    229521.jpg

    Colombus Zeta tubing
    top tube c-c 57cm
    seat tube c-c 60cm
    head tube 20cm
    wheel base 99cm
bottom bracket clearance, centre to ground (with 23mm tyres) 28cm
    Campag dropouts

Wheels are handmade Galli clinchers. Flip flop hub.
Set up as 48x16 single speed at the moment. The fixed side is 15 I think.

Clip on front brake added (Dia Compe) but is easily removed for track-legal use.

Choice of flat or Keo Easy pedals

    North County Dublin

I'll check when I get home this evening.

    My inside leg - 32. I'm 6 foot tall.
That said, the bike is a bit too big for me.

    Crankset is on-one. The chainring is AL7-CNC 1/8 x 48T BCD130

Thanks. I might be interested but only in the frame tbh. Would you split?

I'd be interested in the bars, wheels and front brake if you split.

I'd rather not, if at all possible.
I'll consider if it doesn't sell complete.

Am building up a fixie at the moment.....but there's no way it'll look as good as that.

Keep hoping my numbers come in...when they do, I'll be onto you

    Lovely bike

    425?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 25,879 Mod ✭✭✭✭CramCycle

Are the brake levers resting on top of the handle bar tape i.e. are they easy to remove for track use as it is?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,131 ✭✭✭Dermot Illogical

The lever on the left isn't on anymore, it served no purpose other than to match the one on the right.
The remaining lever is beneath the tape, so it would need to be re-wrapped to make it any easy switch.
