Recommend me a good front lamp for winter cycling

I do cycling most evening just as a keep fit routine.
The front lamp I have is very poor & doesn't really light the road ahead as it's a straight narrow beam.
One flick of the steering & I lose sight of the ditch on my left or hit every pothole on my way.

    What would you recommend ?

A head torch. Plus a standard lamp on the bike.

I've one I bought for working on cars and it's great - it shines where you look, so you can shine it at an oncoming car for a second, so they know you are there. - I found a link for mine : http://cheetah.ie/shop/index.php?id_product=32&controller=product

Those Solarstorm lamps look like they are worth a try at that price!

I use Hope r4 as my handle bar mount on flash for commuting it's great as it sits in the middle of the handle bars, it also comes with a helmet mount and you can use it as a head torch, it is tiny and light. I compliment this with a lezyne 500 lumen head mounted torch which is great for shining a light ahead of cars and for roundabouts.
