Anyone have any ideas for the art project ? The themes this year seem to be quite hard to think of an idea that will get an A!

We have to do a 3D,2D & option and the support studies :)
    The themes are
    From farm to fridge/fork
    A poem about old footwear
    Selfies/self
    Words I like
    Inside a machine
    Great masters inspire me

Most options seem to involve drawing people which both my inside and outside school art teachers told us to try and avoid since it can be marked down quite easily !

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated ! sharing ideas always helps spark new ones :)

Think I'm doing Walt Disney as the master that inspires me and focusing on his art work and characters :) my friends doing inside a machine and she's using the brain and drawing things from inside a person I guess! A few people in my class are picking countries and focusing on animals and culture and all that sort :)

Inside a machine (a person) doesn't mean you have to draw the details and face just the out line of the body I'm sure you'd be grand :) good luck !

Personally I am doing the "great masters inspire me" theme and I am basing it around horse racing. I made the structure of a horse from wire last year so I just have to make some minor adjustments and paper mâché over it this year. I am doing a racing scene for the 2d and I am making a jockey puppet for the option.

The "words I like" theme is very open, you can do pretty much anything you want for it.

My teacher has told us to avoid doing already know cartoons because it doesn't show any imagination to the examiner.

So for words I like I can just pick a word and expand from there?

Yep, with words I like you can pretty much pick any theme. Say you like drawing animals you could say that you like the words dog, cat and fish and yo from there

I would advise you not to give away too much detail of your ideas for your exam work to all and sundry.
