Hi This question may seem odd but I am considering using an inset stove as a free standing stove. It would be placed on a marble plinth in an open part of the room. Is this possible? Would it create safety issues? Thanks in advance!

Due to the design of an insert stove this is not advisable they are purely meant for insert
