Hi guys unt gals. Just looking for some information or some links on how I could find out a bit more on this topic.

Sports funding / Sports Capital Programme

I need to put in a call with the Irish Sports Council, but maybe some folk on here might have experience in this, and I could get some general opinions.

I was recently led to believe that council’s in Dublin have provided greater support in terms of land ownership requirements and the application process itself compared to other rural county councils.

Clubs in rural Ireland have to buy the land required and this is not funded under the Sports Capital Programme, only the capital works on the grounds are funded.

Not too sure where to start with this, other than hunting for examples of how it might differ between Dublin and somewhere else.
