    Hello

I have a Vax C88-P5-B Power vaccum cleaner.

    http://support.vax.co.uk/power-5-cylinder-vacuum-cleaner

Its just over a year old, I never liked the suction hose, its really cheap and feels flimsy.

In the last couiple of weeks the vaccum is losing suction and I think its down to the suction hose being loose or having a crack in the wall of it somwehere, its just a crap qualiaty suction hose.

Does anybody know if a suction hose from another different brand of vaccum cleaner can be used on a vax or do I have to go with Vax specific prodcuts ? ( I dont really want to replace it with another vax suction hose as it's poor quality )

Are you sure there's not just something stuck in the hose somewhere?
