Timing belt & Rear suspension

I've just had my 07 Focus serviced and have been told that the timing belt is due early next year (8 years or 160k.) The car only has 65k on the clock so do you think this is a real necessity?, also the NCT is due in Feb so do I need it changed prior to this?
Also, the lower stabilising bar bushes are worn and need replacing on both sides; short arm bushes are worn and also need replacing both sides. I take it this is something I need sorting immediately?, could anybody give me a ballpark figure please?
    Thanks!

Of course it haw to be changed its a belt.they deteriate over time so what u might think is a expensive job now it's alot better them a belt breaking. Make sure you get it done personally I think that time is very long and would get it done sooner

    As Burke said..

I'll add that I wouldn't even like to push it to the maximum 8 years! I'd have it done already if i was in your place.
8 years is some lenght of time, can't see how it wouldn't be well perished!
