They probably never reset the service indicator. Or you have covered a lot of kms between then and now!

No I don't do high mileage. I've only done 5,000 miles since it was done in April.

Might pop into your man that done it and see what he says.

What car is it? Year, model etc? And does the indicator say anything specific, like "oil service"? I'd put my money on them not resetting the service indicator. But probably best to ask.

Mark Allen is 10 minutes down the road in straffan.

What year is it? If it uses condition based servicing then it could be asking for some other service item now. Eg a brake fluid change.

    It's an 06 e90 330i.

It just says service, I know you can check it. I'll have to have a look tomorrow.

It got a good service last time.

Not all of it was due at the time but got them done since it was due to go soon.

Well the first thing you need to do is figure out what the CBS is asking for.

Then check and see if it was done at the service in April.

If it was then to back and ask the garage to reset the warning.

If it wasn't then book it in for that service item now.

Cheers for the replys it's needs brake fluid is all.

Brake pads he reckons could do with being done soon reading 4,000km but I'll leave them till the sensor kicks in.

I'll check out the recommendations as I'm no longer living near were I got the last service done.

Decided to drop the car in with Mark Allen thanks for the help.

Will say it's an awful depressing place though a lot of nice cars that look like there just sitting up not being used , a few 8 series, 635csi one which may be an Alpina, a few e30 3 series and even a Fist 16v turbo an awful waste.
