Hey there. Currently in first year and just wondering if it's just neuroanatomy we do in second year or do we do head and neck aswell? Thanks

From what I remember, head and neck and neuroanatomy were done together.

But the curriculum has changed a good bit in recent years.

If the second semester is still the cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and renal systems, then head and neck would all be second year, first semester.

It'll be the anatomy department who'll handle it so probably no harm in asking F Quondamatteo when you see him next. :D

I did 2nd Med in 12/13, and they only focussed on Neuroanatomy, i.e. there was no dissection of the head and neck. Which I personally think is rather stupid. However, the curriculum can change year-to-year, so like Captain Albection said, email Fabio or Brendan Wilkins and ask. :)
