Old JC materials any good?

I did my Junior Cert in 2013 and have all my stuff (notes, books, revision books, etc.) left over. My younger brother is starting first year next year and I was wondering if they'll be of any use to him? I understand he'll be doing the new JC but I'm not sure if that's just for certain subjects or all of them or what's the story. And even with this continuous assessment are the actual courses changing?

Just want to know if he'll get any use out of them before I toss them all out. Thanks for any info.

Present 1st years (who started in August 2014) are currently doing the new English 'specification'.
The new Science and Business Studies 'specifications' are due to begin next year (but teachers haven't agreed to this yet). Other subjects will be phased-in in later years.
So your brother will probably be doing the same as you did, except for English, Business Studies and Science.
