We've got one in the kitchen / dining area for a couple of months now.
It does free to air & terrestrial.
It works well & has no problems.
    Nice neat little box.
Before that we had a TV Star™ TS4000 Combo Box which we returned because it was rubbish.
Half the price I know but rubbish.

Can you load a channel list via USB or do you have to use a Null modem cable?

Also where can I get a channel list?

Here is a procedure I made out myself for these boxes.

    Please note the note!

    NOTE!
Update files from a Xoro HRC9000 and Xoro HRC9000+ are not compatible.
If wrong files are loaded into the wrong box it will lock for good.

    To Backup HRC9000

    • Go into Tools menu
    • Select Upgrade By USB
    • Upgrade Mode set at <Dump>
    • Backup file non-selectable set to <Dumpfile.abs>
    • Select <Start>
    • Box will backup three files to the USB stick. Wait for 100% then Exit.

    To Restore HRC9000

    • Go into Tools menu
    • Select Upgrade By USB
    • Upgrade Mode set at <All Code & Dump>
    • Restore file non-selectable set to <Dumpfile.abs>
    • Select <Start>
    • Box will restore from USB stick. Then reboots itself.

    To Backup HRC9000+

    • Go into Tools menu
    • Select Upgrade By USB
    • Upgrade Mode set at <Backup>
    • Backup file non-selectable set to <Backup.abs>
    • Select <Start>
    • Box will backup three files to the USB stick. Wait for 100% then Exit.

    To Restore HRC9000+

    • Go into Tools menu
    • Select Upgrade By USB
    • Upgrade Mode set at <All Code>
    • Restore file non-selectable set to <Backup.abs>
    • Select <Start>
