There was 44K at it last night
52K last season though this was in March
    46K in 12/13
    48K in 11/12
    51K in 10/11

I was thinking of going to it during the week but when I was looking at the tickets as I thinking they're mighty steep.

So if you went how much did you pay?

58 + booking fee. As I'm not living in Ireland at the moment I also had flights + hotel.

    Were they good seats?

I'm guessing you paid around 64 or 65 in total then?

Think it said 25 on my ticket. That was a season ticket holder one though.

Block 115 behind the posts in the south stand.

87 Inc booking fee well worth it front row of premium level on the 22 line. Lack of red around us was a concern though it eased in the first half and ran back at us in the second.

As a East terrace sth it was massively different though.

Mine said 35 - I have a season ticket for the North Stand in the RDS. It was a decent enough seat.

I might be remembering incorrectly prices from previous years but the ticket prices seemed to have increased a few euros this year for the Aviva. Surprised we got 44k+ through the gates.

Oh maybe mine was 35 then as I don't see why I'd get a cheaper one.

Last years game sold out, and this year they had the €10 off Harlequinns game in December offer as well ,higher prices would have put a few thousand people off. They will have to offer better prices for the December to get a big crowd it

I think it was 55+ 5 booking fee for excellent seats.....upper level, front row, halfway line

My ticket said free, and I got it free. It was around the 22, Premium level west stand. :)

Also just a quick note, first time in premium, it was nice. I thought it would be full of corporate types, but it was actually mostly just families

Was there actually 44k there? Looked the emptiest it's been.

Premium level is much misunderstood, it's just a bit more comfort, like a Ryanair emergency exit row!

the people you are talking about are to be found on Level 4 - Corporate!!

Agree, I watched it on telly due to illness and Id say 35-38 range was more like it. 44k sold perhaps, including all season tickets and 10 year stadium ticket holders.

Prices must certainly have been a bar, I was really surprised when a colleague went looking last week and cheapest he could get was €65 in general population, that must have put off a lot of last minute buyers.

No way there was 44k there

Pro 12 website gives it as almost 44k but TV showed quite a lot of empty seats.

Looked back at my tickets from two years ago, prices were identical back then, so I think no inflation in two years is something to be commended.

If 44k people bought tickets and only 40k turn up, I'd say Leinster won't shed too many tears, it's still money in the bank and that's the aim of these matches.

Actually, there are more there than I remember, you can see the empty spaces in the upper decks here though:

It was really only the sides of the stadium that were empty. I'd say it was very close to 44k.

That's before kick-off though, it filled up a fair bit after that.

God that cheerleading display was poor.
