    Hello,
I just bought an Acer Intel Core i5 and I see that it's asking to activate or buy Office 365.
In my old laptop I use Office Home and Student 2010 (I have a 3-user key + DVD purchased for it). I dont need or want to upgrade to office 365... and I'm not sure if the windows 8 accepts office home 2010. I hope I don't sound stupid... I'm no programmer or IT expert and don't want to do something wrong on my new laptop... How can I have Office Home and Student 2010 run on my acer? will I just use the DVD and install the old version of office??

    Thanks

2010 is supported by Windows 8. You don't need to uninstall 2013 but its a good idea before installing.
