Hey hoping you can help. I'm mid thirties and looking for a cleanser toner moisturiser and night cream. Want to concentrate on wrinkle and have some mild scarring too. Have been reading about clarins and lancome. Just haven't a clue what I should be using. I use Nivea moisturiser and garnier cleanser and toner but it's not enough. Would love a day cream with some illuminating properties. Money is not really an issue. Thanks

What kind of skin do you have? Is it dry/oily/combination/sensitive etc?

I use Dermalogica products mostly and find them fantastic. They are not cheap though (cleanser is around €35 etc) but do last a long time. My skin had gotten very sensitive over the summer and was really red and sore, and everything I used seemed to just aggravate it, even Simple products. But I went in for a Dermalogica facial, and have been using some of the Ultra-Calming range and my skin feels SO much better now. I'd used Dermalogica a few years ago as well, but I just couldn't afford to get more when I ran out so had to use cheaper stuff. You can get Dermalogica in beauty salons.

I think it's important to get a consultation with a beauty therapist/skincare person and see what they say. It can really help, especially when you've no idea what you want/need and just know you want to try something new. If you're interested in trying out Lancome or Clarins, go to the counters and get a few samples to try out. Worst thing ever is to buy a full size product and then find out it makes you break out or something! Especially if it's expensive.

I use mostly clarins and would highly recommend. In particular their beauty flash balm is fantastic to apply after cleansing toning and moisturising for that glow...... :)
They do a sensitive range also....hth....

Get something with glycolic acid. Anything other than it is total BS. Anti-wrinkle creams cant penetrate the skin well enough to do anything. But glycolic acid can and causes the skin to break down and regenerate. This in the one I use

You only notice a difference after a few weeks. You will notice your skin is soft and a few months later the lines are a lot more shallow. It got rid of a mild acne scar for me. Glycolic acid is what American dermatologists suggest for younger looking skin

I would focus on products available from dermatologists or medical clinics (cosmeceuticals). Image and ZO are both good.
