Interior Car Detailing - How Much Can Be Done (Galway)

Just bought a VW Golf GT Sport 2008. The exterior is fine and so is the interior for the most part (seats and upholstery in perfect condition), however -
    - the interior has a God awful smell of smoke
    - scratches on the steering wheel (it's a glosy plastic finish)
    - dirt in the vents and the nooks & crannies of the dash, clutch and hand brake
    - and the plastic around the ash tray has cigarette melting damage

Can a car detailing service fix these problems? If so are there any places in Galway people would recommend. The car itself looks great so would be willing to spend a few quid to get the inside looking as good as the outside. Thanks!

Smell of Smoke can be taken care of if the upholstery is completely giving a go with a wet vac roofliner may have to be done also any good valet /detailer should be able to clean affected areas nooks and crannys where ash may have caked the ash try and steering wheel plastic can be replaced contact your local VW dealer for prices etc.

As above, a good going over with a spray-extraction machine can remove most,if not all of the problem - even better if you can run a biological cleaner like AS Bio Brisk through the machine. Cleaning the headliner properly is crucial to success here.(Obviously it goes without saying that care should be taken not to waterlog it to the extent that it sags.)

People also use fogging machines, but for this particular problem, I'm not convinced they would offer anything other than a temporary solution.

I'd use a biological cleaner after an intense hoover and hot water extraction.
Also if it was me and my new car id be thinking of removing the seats for a 100% coverage.
