How Much Have You Saved??

    Hi Guys,

I've been vaping about 5 months now straight (having experimented before last year but kept running out of battery)

Then I went and got an MVP 2. Battery is unreal, 5 days non stop.

    I wasn't a pack a day smoker, however spent 30 a week, maybe 40 some weeks.

Since May, I spent 52 on MVP, 22 on Clearomisers and maybe 100 on juice, (ten 30ml bottles at 9.50 a bottle)

175 for 5 months as opposed to 600 otherwise. That 175 includes the 50 for my MVP, which should last me another 5 too :)

Over a year, this works out at 350-450 euro, compared to 1500 for smoking 3 packs a week. A saving of roughly 1000 a year

What about you guys? more experienced vapers/ previous heavier smokers than myself

    :)

EDIT: I can only imagine someone who used to smoke a pack or more a day would be saving 2.5kplus :0

I was 30/40 per day, have saved well over 3 grand in the nearly 10 months I been vaping and that is on top of what I have spent buying different MODs and Clearomizers and liquids etc...

Nothing , if anything it's costing me money . I have a brother living in Lanzarote and every time he came home he brought me 5x50gram amberleaf for €20 .

Fair point Jonski :P how much would you be spending on vaping now, and how long would that 250g of tobacco lasted?

Used to roll at times myself @ 3x12.5g of amber leaf a week, so it was still costing 15-18 euro, as opposed to 5 for me now (3 per week for juice and 2 per week for a clearo) Although I know 10ml would'nt last a week for everyone.

When I started vaping I broke even on the initial cost of the device etc after about 10 days, after that it was all savings. I'm back on the bad sticks again now though..

Spending a minimum of €10:00 a week on Juice alone , he was home ( or someone was over and back ) a few times a year so somewhere between 4 and 5 x 250g .

Between myself and my better half we probably spent in excess of €100 per week on cigs. Now, even though I change mods and atties pretty regularly which costs a bit (well more than a bit some months), I do make up my own juice...so on a weekly basis juice costs €15.00 and something like €100 a month on bits and shiney stuff.

Not sure on total savings on the year and a half we have quit...but enough for me to buy a Golf GTD and my wife a Scirocco!

5 months off them and I've saved a good few hundred but spending it else where on other stuff.

I'm off them over a year now, I've saved €4,600 gross, after all of the shiny stuff, tanks, coils and juice purchased I'd say I've saved €3,800 nett roughly.

Its mad, there are 1000s to be saved, but as pointed out the money goes elsewhere.

What I should do, is really get around to putting 30 or 40 quid into a jar each week.

I know of a friends mother who smoked 40-60 a day, after she did this for 9 months, there was roughly 5 k there.

I found it doesn't go elsewhere, after a few months you'll notice more and more in your bank account, some months when you've bought everything you need you'll be scratching your head wondering what to spend all the saved cash on :D

My sig says it all really. I was a 30-40 a day smoker.

Very little invested in Hardware. Twists and then to iTaste VV about a year ago. Happy with Kanger T2 clearo since near the beginning. Never got into the sweet flavours and found a flavour I was happy with as a perpetual daily vape after about 9 months so didn't build up a large collection of juice in the search for the perfect vape.

Think I've invested about 100 a year in hardware and about 30 a month in juice. Hence huge net saving of nearly 7000 a year. Any wonder the government will use any excuse or tactic to slow adoption.

    Whats the all day vape?

Just checked my orders on the site I order almost everything and in the last 27 months I've spent about €2k

Was a 20 a day plus another 20 on the weekend. About €320pm, so probably saved a little over €6k in that period.

    Liqua Cuban Cigar.

I found my tastebuds desensitised to all other flavours within a few days and sometimes hours. No amount of ginger or mouthwashes or whatever would bring it back. Only abstention for a few days but flavour would be gone again after a day or two. This flavour for some reason while it does get subdued after a while, never subdues to nothingness like all the others and is refreshed after a meal reminiscent of the after meal cigarettes being the best smokes of the day.

Think I'm at the point now where I could knock it all on the head though. Keep meaning to start working my way down the nic levels but always forget and automatically order the 24mg.
