I am sailing rosslare - cherbourg on irish ferries tonight 9.30pm sailing, documents state last check in 8.30pm
I will be driving from dublin city centre to rosslare after work this evening, usually we would get out nice an early, but I am a little worried that my wifes employer may be difficult.
Just wondering how strict the 8.30 check in time is liable to be, we could be cutting it close depending on traffic
not going to hold anyone to anything, just wondering if anyone has any experience with this

Not usually especially strict on such long routes. Have you taken account of increased time due to diversions/re routings due to road construction between beehive and jack white's?

On a different page they have different info that it's a half hour on the Irish Sea routes, and an hour for France - Ireland

There have been roadworks in place for a couple of weeks and different views on how much it adds to the time; there will be different reroutings at different times over the next number of months. I wouldn't think that the Dublin-France service is anything like the quality of the one from Rosslare taken together with a significant amount of additional time to take to sail from Dublin.
