Anyone know where I can get details on capital allowance available for family car for a farm if its below certain emissions limits…..it was for an amount up to around 20k I thought

particularly interested in the list of qualifying cars + the rules would be good too:pac:

I was sure there was some scheme and I was looking at a list online of cars that qualified not so long ago or am I raving?

I think this is what you are look for. There is also a link at the end of the page to SIMI website that lists the cars.
    http://www.farmfile.ie/taxationcapitalmotor

Also here: http://www.revenue.ie/revsearch/search.jsp 3rd option down.

Cheers, I probably am a total tool but I found the farm file website earlier and couldn't find the list on the SIMI link so thought that wasn't it

The other link (revenue) just tells me the search is too short and when I put in capital allowance car farm tells me it has no results

Apologies, its probably blindingly obvious but I just can't seem to find it

Oops, I never checked the second link. Unfortunately the internet signal here in Longford at this time of the night is abysmal and I cannot log on to revenue.ie.
Google Revenue.ie, in the search box type - claim car expenses and capital allowance - hopefully it will work and open a pdf.
If not send me a pm with your email address and I will forward you the download.
