Student Card work as ID?

Lost my passport recently,does your student ID work as ID for getting into clubs in Galway do you know?

Only for the college bar, nowhere else will take it.

Get an age card

I forgot to bring out my Passport one night and got into a nightclub with my student ID so just depends on how strict the nightclub is. be safer to get an age card

A lot of places will accept it but it's no guarantee and will often be used as an excuse not to let you in. Passports, drivers' licenses and Garda Age cards are the only ones they have to accept IIRC

Apply for a Garda age card. Quickest and easiest.

And safer then bringing a passport around

I always use the Student Card and have never been refused from any club, so you should be sound.

Lived in Galway for 7 years, always used college ID getting into clubs and pubs, never any hassle
