Replace or Fix

Have a Hotpoint Aquarius WM and I'm nearly sure the drum needs replacing as making a lot of noise and damaging clothes.

I see a 6kg drum on hotpoints website for €108 but would I need to replace any other parts along with the drum?

Is it worth replacing or should I just buy a new one?

    Its the wmf7 40 7kg model.

    Thanks

if that model has the sealed drum which I think it has and needs replacing you are also likely to need a set of brushes for the motor and a water pump as these moving parts are likely to have their best days behind them you need to think twice before fixing it even if you are capable of doing the job yourself, the only cheap way of doing a repair is if you can source a machine with electrical problems in a wee recycling centre. buy a decent German appliance where you can fit a bearing assembly if needed in time to come.

Decided on buying a new one, Indesit wanted €140 for the drum. (delivery included)

New machine can be got for €240 which includes 1 year labour and 3 years part warranty.
