Casual Cycling shorts

As the title says, is there such a thing as casual shorts with the padding and if so any on Chain Reaction or Wiggle.

I use regular cycle shorts for my road road bike but I am looking for a pair that go to the knee but are lose enough, similar to the mtb ones but a little dressier if that makes sense?

I am 36in waist, probably best to get the XL though for the extra room.

Some of the MTB ones have removable liners so can be worn as casual shorts if not riding. Eg..

Aldi do padded Underwear in their cycling specials from time to time. There like men's y fronts with the liner in them, you could any type of shorts over them. Would a gel/padded saddle cover not be just as handy?

I bought these last time they were in Lidl/Aldi and I find them great. They came with basic foam padded shorts for underneath which are held in place with buttons but I use better quality shorts. They aren't at all baggy or in the way when cycling and have a little zip pocket on the leg where I keep notes or a couple of coins. They are Crane branded.
