    Hey Folks,

Just wondering what the situation is with paying for relevant training courses when self employed and trying to claim back on them.

Scenario one : self emplyoed yoga teacher , looking to do additional teacher training/ additional yoga training.
Scenario two : Personal Trainer looking to add more training experience by doing more courses eg WTRX, kettle bells , etc, all relevant to work.

Can these sort of things be reclaimed ?

    Thanks

Yeah they can both be claimed. The only ones that can't be claimed are the original courses you do prior to setting up as a sole trader. Once you are trading any additional courses that maintain or improve your ability to do business are claimable.
