    Hello,

I'm looking to buy a new suit. I was thinking of heading Kildare village. Would you save much on buying a suit in the Hugo boss store?

You'd save quite a bit on a suit there. Some of the 'nicer' suits are a little more expensive than the 'value' ones that are on sale, but a good save nonetheless.

When you say more expensive, how much are we talking?

Around 350. The last time I was there (early May) they had suits for about 285-300 'on special', probably because they were in less popular sizes and were end of line, but the nicer cut suits were a little more expensive - 350-380ish, I think.

Jesus, I thought they'd be a lot more expensive. €700/€800

Savoy Tailors Guild in Kildare Village has a good selection too, some brand name and some of their own - they had a much better selection of larger size suits (46"R jacket, 40" trousers) than I had found elsewhere - prices from €250 upwards

Kildare village/Savoy Taylors Guild are actually having a Bespoke Suit Event on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of October 2014, between 10 am and 5 pm. (Link if you're interested...) :D

Hmm, check the quality and material. Some of those "brand" name suits aren't really the best. I had a Hugo Boss suit and it actually wasn't great quality, I found for the same money I could get an excellent suit in TM Lewin.

With suits its not really about brands, its about quality of material and fit.
