friendly membership. Some good holes. Been in good nick all year long. At my typical tee time, 3hr 40 minute rounds in medals which is a major plus for me vs. where I used to be.

tight time sheet, tight golf course, short golf course.

You'll feel a bit like the grand ol' Duke of York, up the hill, down the hill, up the hill, down the hill, up the hill, down the hill, and that's just the front nine!
It is well sheltered from the wind by the trees and terrain much better than say Druids Heath or Glen o' Downs.
As Uberwolf said you will be hitting wedges a lot with your 2nd shot here.
For me, 17th is a disappointing hole, your shot to the green is blind, unless you are a seriously big hitter.
Best of luck, wherever you choose as I'm thinking of rejoining in the area as well.

Thanks for the Feedback guys. My current course is lovely but is 35 -40 mins drive from the Delgany area and it is not representing good value ie playing once a week during the summer. If Delgany a 2 min from me was my course id be playing more regularly.

Charlesland was not for me same with Glen of the Downs and Druids heath. Never played Greystones either actually. Druids glen yeah but can somebody pay the sub for me :-)

    Thanks again

I am a member in Delgany for the past 4 years - friendly club and a challenging course...Tight, not too long, but a challenge...

Hope you get a club sorted soon

They have a new members open day on this Sunday. Just spotted it on Facebook. You can play 9 holes and have a look around at the facilities. Details on their website.

    Hi,
10 of the Wicklow clubs have a reciprocal green fee rates for their members if they play on the other courses. Does anyone know what any of these "member guest" rates are?
    The clubs are:
    • Arklow
    • Blainroe
    • Charlesland
    • Delgany
    • Glen of the Downs
    • Greystones
    • Kilcoole
    • Wicklow
    • Woodenbridge
    and Bray.
    Thanks, d2ww.

Their regular weekday green fees are all in that range though! Presumably, the member guest fees must be cheaper again.
