Have an old coat I've been through thick and thin with but the zip is broken and the coating has wore away at the shoulders.
Is it possible to repair it?
    Its not an expensive coat

Don't know about the zip, but Outdoor Shops sell patches for goretex jackets.

If you are talking about the entire shoulder areas, it seems unlikely that patches would do an adequate job.

Ring one of the big outdoor shops and ask do they have a repair service zips should be an easy fix the fabric can be a bit of a problem as you need to send it to a qualified person so they know how to fix goretex
