Volunteering Expo in GMIT, Castlebar, Tues 7th Oct

    If anyone is at a loose end next Tuesday, 7th October, you may like to drop into the Volunteering Expo in GMIT in Castlebar between 10 am and 2 pm.

    There will be nearly 30 different voluntary organisations present, providing information about volunteering opportunities and ways to get involved and make a difference.

    For anyone who is out of work, volunteering can be a great way to develop new skills, build contacts, get experience and references. But even if you aren't job-hunting, volunteering brings its own rewards and can really make a huge impact to a community.
