I have cat eye lights and when the bike is left somewhere , I remove the lights from the bike.

I leave the bracket on the bike, but last night, some b00lix stole the cateye bracket ( yes I know, lesson learned, remove bracket also )

Does any body know where to buy these cat eye light brackets ?

feck, saucy enough for a simple bracket when you include postage etc looking at nearly 12 euro

Parcel motel it, still pricey but cheaper than Wiggle (if you use PM already that is).

Cheaper is you use it regularly, unfortunately if you never plan to use it again there is a minimum top up of 10.50 (I think). Failing that., if you have friends or relations in the UK, post to them and ask them to post it on so you only pay royal mail fees (cheaper again, if a tad bit more inconvenient).

My cateye has been stuck to my bike using sellotape for about a month now. Might order a proper bracket the next time I buy something online.
Also your LBS may be able to source one for a reasonable price through their Cateye rep, i have gotten Shimano spares this way in the past.

Don't know where you're based, but the bike shop in Blanchardstown village does a whole range of Cateye spare bits & pieces. .

Some scunner nicked the bracket from one of our bikes a couple of weeks ago.

Are these gits just bored and struggling to come up with anything more imaginatively antisocial? OR is there a huge container being filled with these brackets that are going to be sold to the highest bidder in some continental underground blackmarket type thing?

It just didn't make any sense to swipe the bracket on it's own, but swipe it they did. Now it's a real pain to try and replace the thing for us, and there is no advantage for them. Scunners!

On a side note, hands up who thinks I can remember where I put the "spare" bracket I got with another light there recently. Bah!

That's nuts they took the brackets too.
Where in Dublin did that happen if you don't mind me asking?
Which brackets do you need, I have a few spare in the shed.

You really shouldn't have to be removing the brackets from your bike everytime you leave it - that's just crazy.
I'd be too lazy and would invest in wrap around (bracketless) lights such as these Cateye nimas.
They wrap around with a heavy duty elastic band.
I have these knogs which I use as secondary ligts, but you'd have to pay postage - the cateyes from SCR will be free postage and delivery next day.
