PVC windows

Got all my PVC windows installed. They look really well. I want to get new net curtains. Am thinking of drilling holes in walls surrounding pvc and insterting hooks in the holes of the walls with a view to hanging up curtains. Has anybody done this?. I used to have wooded frames so was able to screw in hooks into the wood. I don't want to damage the pvc frames so thought this would be a good idea. Has anybody does this - if so is it a success?. Many thanks for any replies.

My parents did that 50 odd years ago alright. And they're still hanging :) not the same curtains of course. :)
me I couldn't be bothered so just used those extending poles you can buy in guineys.

Just the rigid spring loaded net curtain poles. You adjust them to the wide of the opening + X cm's. Then put the curtain on and compress the pole into the window opening. The curtain will hang much better than with one of the curtain wires that's very hard to tension etc...

    +1 tension rods.

Don't tempt faith with what you may or may not have to screw into in your window reveals, could be just a wee bit of weak plasterboard...
