Anyone ever had an ESR disappear from their HC record?

Got one last week but went into golfnet there and it was gone!

Will call the club in the morning but in the meantime, has anyone had the same happen?

They must have me earmarked for Pierce Purcell next year :)

By any chance did it include a clause 19 to qualify for the ESR?

Thanks for reply John, no clause 19.
ND -5 in June (Stableford) and then ND -7 in Strokes weekend before last (worst hole was a treble where I had a shot).

ESR of 0.5 was showing up this day last week.

Was there an Away score in between that was just applied?

Not sure Cairny, there is an away score sitting there waiting to be applied from last Thursday. That was my first round after the ESR.
Would that be the cause of it?

No it shouldn't, was just thinking the ESR is applied if the two scores occur within 10 rounds (I think) so if an away was put in after then that might have meant there were 11 rounds between the two scores,, if that makes sense.

I suppose you could just count the number of rounds between them as listed on golfnet?

I see where you're coming from there.

There were definitely more than 10 rounds in between but it's not limited to 10 unless it has recently changed? Going by this table, a 0.5 was the correct cut.

No worries disappointingly I had one withdrawn after it was applied incorrectly due to a -3 ND and a clause 19 -1.
Well done on the great rounds though. Hope u keep it going

Cheers, hopefully it's just a glitch but I thought all this was automated, ie automated without mistakes :)

It'll be a kick in the you know what's.

Have already had a 0.9 cut deemed non qualifying after the away club came up with some story about more than 10% of bunkers being out of play!
Now, hopefully not another 0.5 gone.

And to add insult to injury, I may miss out on two buffers in recent rounds (33 & 34) if I was playing off a shot lower than I should.

Well, not much joy with this today!
Rang the club and the lad that answered didn't know anything about it. Will try handicap sec in the morn.

An away 0.1 has just been added, Golfnet saying 12.6 now but Howdidido saying 12.1.
Was told to play off whatever golfnet says but don't think that's the case at all.

I found golfnet always a few days behind howdidido, unless the club hasn't got howdidido then it will take a few days to go up on golfnet, don't worry you won't be playing off 12 for long!! Ha ha

The strange thing is that the ESR was showing up on golfnet last week. But it has vanished now. So it's not as if it's just taking a while to come through.

Anyway, hopefully handicap sec knows what's going on.

Something similar happened to me earlier in the year, had an ESR then it was gone. If I remember correctly it reappeared about a week later.

He's correct use the handicap as per Golfnet, Golfnet is the official handicap database, howdidido is not.

I have seen that happen before with the club2000 system, got a call from the gui asking why we had deleted it, but it was some glitch with the software.
So I had to undo the competition and re-run competition close process.

Not sure what system my club uses ProV but it seems to be sorted now... I think.

The line itemising my ESR hasn't reappeared but my HC is reflective of the cut.

I think howdidido is the social media side of the club2000 software system, Happy days that the handicap is sorted ....
