    I found a skull while out walking the dogs earlier. Would I be right in thinking it's probably from a young fox? I stuck in my hand for scale.

    It would be nice to see a picture of the teeth. That can make ID a lot easier.

    I'd say it's a dog. :( Fox has a lighter looking skull, especially across the muzzle. And there's a straighter line from the nose to the brain cavity. I have an old one somewhere, if I can find it I'll put up a pic for comparison. Dave
