Just wondering if anyone has a detail on RCD testing frequency? Is it an annual requirement in an industrial setting?

You will find it difficult to get a definitive answer on this. Like most things of this nature, testing is recommended "periodically" to stop the device seizing up over time.

How one defines periodic is the question.

the TEST BUTTON is supposed to be pressed regularly on any rcd ...as per manufacturer instructions

this is to confirm operation of the device and prevent STICTION

as for periodic electrical testing with RCD TESTER to confirm compliance with ET101:2008

i don't know but any decent industrial maintenance schedule would have it done at least annually
