Helicopter over Rathmines

    Hi,
    there's been an army helicopter circling around upper Rathmines for the last 20 minutes - anyone any idea what's going on?

    It's the lads in cathal brugha barracks.

    Happens all the time.

    It's definitely them, I can see into the barracks and the helicopter from where I'm sitting, been going all morning.

    They seem to take off or land it there at least twice a week, sometimes at night as well. It's loud and windy ,foxes n all legging it up my road.

    I work in a large building in Leopardstown and was up on a high floor for lunch watching the chopper activity over the city, very unusual.

    To be fair the activity today is not the norm. Seemed to be a few around D1 earlier. Was looking out the window for the Fianna Fáil tent
