Anyone ever been involved with Teagasc Options? Was it worthwhile? Coming up soon in this area and I've booked a place, the price was right :D

I did ask previously for an advisor to come out, which was the way before, but they never turned up.

I've been to two of them over the years in Cork. Last one was 2 years ago and about 25 miles away. There were 2 men from leader there crying for people to make use of their funds or else the money could go unclaimed. I rang my local leader about a business my daughter wanted to start and was told it wasn't unique enough and someone had the same business 30 miles away

The Teagasc man assured us on the last night that they would follow up everyone that went "and ye will hear from us" his exact words but no one heard from them after. The first course I did I got references of people for follow on information I rang the Teagasc man that did the course as to why none of them called he said they will be out within the month, still waiting :) I think it's Teagasc using up their end of year funds.
