Yes it matters. The more cases they have done the better.
Lots of 6MS providers in the south west , I suggest you google Six month smiles and check their provider list , they usually indicate the number of cases the Dentist has done. Also check their web sites for testimonials etc.

Who you attend for orthodontics is extremely important.

Many dentists offering 6 month braces are general practice dentists, ie they are not specialist orthodontists.

Specialist orthodontists have 3 years of specialist training that general dentists don't have.

If you are going to go down that route , I would haggle the fee with the Orthodontist.
I am sure you have done your homework. Most Orthodontists are very capable of a six month smile treatment , however most Orthodontists are perfectionists. Short term orthodontics is not perfection and not suitable for everyone.However I certainly would find out the cost that the locals charge for their six month smiles, and negotiate with your orthodontist.
You may be pleasantly surprised.

ive been reading alot of bad reports on 6 month braces i dont know what to do??
