Claiming Holiday Pay from Ex-Employers?

I worked for an appallingly run company from the beginning of 2012, until around April 2013.

It took over a year for me to get my P45 from them, it took a solicitors letter from me to be able to get my hands on it, because I was owed over €1,300 tax back. I posted a thread about it here.

Anyway, after talking to a fellow ex-employee who also had to jump through hoops to get a P45, he pointed out that for the duration of our employment, we never received any holiday pay. All days booked off or holidays were at our own expense and we never received any lump sums at the end of tax years like in any other job I've had where we weren't paid for booked time off.

I've calculated that I'm owed over €1k in unclaimed holiday pay, which I asked for while employed but was refused.

I'm wondering am I entitled to pursue this now, or will I let it go? Its a lot of money and these employers are absolute cowboys so I probably won't get any satisfaction but I'd like to at least try.

    Thanks in advance.

You'd only be entitled to holiday pay for the period January to April 2013 FYI, nothing for 2012. You can't be paid in lieu of holiday pay so you can't claim for 2012 despite your previous experience...
