    don't have a program, never properly recorded before so complete novice

    You also need something along the lines as protools or logic. If not familar with either, your going to have steep learning curve from a novice point of view

    Based on the photo & info in that Amazon ad, that Presonus hardware comes bundled with their "Studio One" software. I've never used it, but here's a 3 mins video explaining what it does.



    So, for less than €200, I'd say this bundle is a pretty good way to get into PC based home recording. Check out some online tutorials & reviews to be sure this is the bundle for you. Make sure your pc spec is sufficient to run the software.
